Tuesday, December 6th, 2016, 7:30 pm. Paris.

Evenings with an Author: Lessons from Edith Wharton. At the American Library in Paris.

Drawing on her background as both a Wharton scholar and a novelist, Jessica Levine will explore the relationship between Wharton’s own life and her masterpiece, The Age of Innocence, with the aim of suggesting ways in which writers can draw on personal experiences in order to create timeless characters and stories. This exploration of the creative process will be of interest to both readers and writers of fiction.
